Ohio’s weather is unpredictable, but your vehicle’s finish doesn’t have to be. Our ceramic coatings provide long-lasting shine and superior protection against the elements. At Shep’s Automotive Detailing, we go beyond traditional waxes and sealants—our advanced ceramic coatings create a durable, molecular-level bond with your paint, shielding it from UV rays, chemical stains, and road grime. What we'll do:
- Decontamination Wash
Wheels, tires and wheel-wells cleaned.
Dressing applied to tires.
Undercarriage Cleaned.
We will remove bugs from windows, mirrors, grille, hood & cowl panel and roof.
Wash vehicle with 2-Buckets and industry methods.
Iron Decontamination.
Using synthetic clay, we will remove tar and other tacky debris from your paint.
Adhesive residue and most overspray will be removed.
We will dry the vehicle with a combination of towels and compressed air.

Alcohol solution is sprayed to remove any residual oils.

Coating will be applied panel by panel to ensure even coverage, and to all trim, glass and wheels.
Performing a two-step leveling process, we will use a combination of towels.
4. Forty-Eight Hour Curing Period

Your vehicle must stay shielded from the elements for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours after a ceramic coating has been applied, this is to allow the coating to adhere to your paint and be effective through it's advertised life.

Our 5-Year Ceramic Coating provides an ultra hard glass-like finish to your vehicles exterior, protecting it marring, weathering, fall-out, UV damage and wash warring. Our perpetual ceramic coating will add 3~4 microns of ceramic coating to wheels, paint, trim and glass.

Our 7-Year Ceramic Coating is a ceramic coating with graphene oxide, providing the hardest layer of protection we can offer. This coating will be applied to paint, trim and glass. Giving you years of shine and paint protection.
Paint Inspection
We never rush into applying a ceramic coating, we will first perform a full decontamination wash before moving on to identify the imperfections on your vehicles finish, minor and major.
Paint Correction
We highly encourage getting a single-step polish done prior to getting a coating applied, any imperfections will be sealed under this coating!
Coating Application
Our ceramic coating will be hand applied to all exterior surfaces of your vehicle, ensuring complete coverage and an even layer of coating to the wheels, windows, trim, headlights and taillights.
Coating Maintenance
To ensure your coating lasts it's entire working life, it is important to have regular wash maintenance on it. We are here to help make your new finish last for miles to come.

Ceramic coatings provide a hard, long lasting barrier between your vehicles paint and the elements. Unlike traditional wax, ceramic coatings last more than a few months, protect your vehicles paint from wash marring, consistently bead water and makes washing your car a breeze without breaking down!

These are not spray-on sealants, these are true graphene ceramic coatings that are easily maintainable and repel water like nothing else!

No, for ceramic coating services we require vehicles to be dropped off at our shop just outside Mount Vernon. Please note there is a three day turnaround for ceramic coating services.
Do you require a deposit?

Yes, for all ceramic coating services we require a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the service, this goes towards the final cost. You can view our Deposit Policy for more information.
